Department of self-defence for the army, police, security companies and the public


In the period November 7 - 11, 2012 in Dakar, Republic of Senegal, the International Ju-Jitsu Federation (JJIF), the Ju-Jitsu African Union, the Senegal Judo Federation of and the Ju-Jitsu Senegalese Association organised a training seminar on Ju-Jitsu and Special Defence with a Ju-Jitsu championship. The seminar on Special Defence was led by Dr. Tomo Borissov, JJIF Vice President and Chairman of the JJIF Department on Self-Defence for the Army, Police, Security Companies and the Public, included demonstrations and practical training in Special Defence. The part related to the sport competition in the Ju-Jitsu systems - Duo and Fighting was led by Mr. Eugene Domagata, JJIF Technical Director. On November 10, 2012 in the sports competition participated athletes from 10 countries, members of the Ju-Jitsu African Union (JJAFU). The championship was attended by the President of the Senegalese Judo and Associated Disciplines Federation Mr. El Hadj Mamadou Moussa DIA, the President of the Ju-Jitsu Senegalese Association Mr. Birama Fall, the Regional Coordinator of Sports Mr. Alioune Mbaye and many other representatives of the sport community. On November 11, 2012 for the representatives from the JJAFU was organised a general meeting where were presented the goals and the ideas for the development of the Special Defence and was presented also the Agreement, the structure and the program of the Human Rights, Police and Military Intervention Association  as well as the social policy and main guidelines for the development of Ju-Jitsu in Africa.
